Shanghai, October 2023Wusong is a retailer and media platform dedicated to modern Chinese aesthetics. Our mission is to reshape perceptions of China by connecting international audiences to emerging Chinese brands, designers, and their work.
Our Story
I grew up American-born Chinese in the early 2000s, when “Made in China” was often equated with “cheap and disposable.” After several years working in tech, I moved to China and began connecting with a new generation of brands and designers offering modern perspectives on Chinese fashion and design.
Wusong is my way of amplifying their stories and helping bridge the gap between them and an international audience. While we don’t always work directly with the brands we feature, we hope to deepen our collaboration in the future.
Wusong is proudly created in China and based in Shanghai.
